About Cheshunt Body Therapy

Sports massage therapy has always sparked an interest to me due to the love I have for health and fitness training. I wanted to be able to understand injuries that I myself could possibly encounter while training as well as for other people.
I started studying physiology and Anatomy, Soft tissue and Deep tissue massage back in 2008 at the London School of Sports massage with hopes to work in the Sports field treating athletes.
Soon after, I got offered a job in an Osteopathy and Sports Injury Clinic in London working with a wide range of patients.
I discovered that many people suffer with neck, shoulder and back pain usually from their day to day lifestyle, like working in an office environment or a physically demanding job, or muscle tensions in their legs/feet from running and doing exercises like weight training etc.
The techniques I use for treating are normally, Deep tissue massage, Lymphatic drainage especially when there is acute inflammation, stretching and Neuromuscular pressure point release. I thoroughly enjoyed learning about new things that would help.
Shortly after, I decided to move to South America Peru and continued my journey as a therapist, I also took up various Martial Arts such as Muay Thai and Brazilian Jiu Jitsu working with a variety of Athletes and treating them while gaining further experience and knowledge about Sports injuries.
I am currently still practicing Martial Arts/weight training and working between London and Cheshunt treating all sorts of people from competitive athletes to busy parents and everyday people who just need release from annoying body aches and pains.
Sports massage can be a preventative treatment as well as a healing one for chronic muscular pain, so everyone can benefit from this type of therapy.
